About Workshop

The two day intensive workshop on embedded systems conducted by Industry Applications Society (IAS) Chapter, IEEE Gujarat Section with the support of IEEE Student Branch DA-IICT purports to involve students in a cohesive drive with the academia and industry towards excellence in embedded systems technology.

• This workshop will attempt to cover material relevant to giving students necessary knowledge and skill set to appreciate the rapid changing scenario in embedded systems and take advantage of this in furthering their career.
• The workshop will encompass interactive seminar discoursed by eminent people from the academia and the industry on emerging topics in Embedded Technologies. A practical/laboratory session will be held in afternoon, which will supplement the knowledge disseminated during the lecture session with adequate hands on experience.
• To encourage and stimulate continued interest in embedded systems, students attending the workshop will be provided micro-controller programming kit which will be used during the practical session and will then be owned by the participants.
