Kartikeya Sarabhai
Director, CEE
Shri Sarabhai has served on many committees set up by the Ministry of Environment and Forests and Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India, primarily focusing on the greening of India's formal education system, and initiatives for biodiversity education. He is a member of the Earth Charter International Council. He was also part of the delegations which represented India at the Earth Summit (1992) in Rio and the Earth Summit 2002 in Johannesburg. He was also instrumental in initiating the South and Southeast Asian Network for Environment Education (SASEANEE). He is currently vice chair of the Indian National Commission for the International Union Conservation of Nature (IUCN). He also led the first international conference on the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development in Ahmedabad in 2005, and he is a member of the UNESCO Reference Group for DESD.
He is currently the editor of the Journal of Education for Sustainable Development, published by SAGE, and has written and spoken extensively on environment, education and related subjects in national and international fora.
He received the Tree of Learning Award (1998) from the IUCN in appreciation of his contributions to the field of environmental education and communication. The Indian Institute of Human Rights has presented him with the World Human Rights Promotion Award (2005).

Nirav Shah heads the marketing division of eInfochips. He is responsible for the strategies, tactics and programs to create interest, demand and recognition for eInfochips and its services. He has more than 10 years of experience in computer industry that includes management and engineering experience in various fields of technology including ASIC Design/Validation, Apps engineering &Project/Program management. Nirav is an engineering graduate from LD Engineering College and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Chicago. He has also pursued an Advanced Program Management Certification Program from Stanford.
He began his career with Intel in 1997 as a Component Design Engineer and in subsequent years moved to technical marketing and then to program/relationship management. He was responsible for managing Apple's IA based desktop and portables designs programs. He was also awarded .Intel's highest award - the Intel Achievement Award in 2006.

He is a contributor to openSUSE and Compiz projects, lead developer of openSUSE-Edu Li-f-e: Linux for Education and KIWI-LTSP thin client technology. Google Summer of Code 2008 Mentor for Easy-LTSP project. Currently, he is a visiting Faculty at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Computer Center, conducting course on Linux as a part of LAMP curriculum.
A R Dasgupta

Mr. Dasgupta is a Distinguished Professor of the Academy of Geoinformatics at the Bhaskaracharya Institute of Space Applications and Geoinformatics, Gandhinagar. He is also the Honorary Managing Editor of GIS Development magazine and consultant to several geospatial companies. He has significant and original contributions in convergence of information and communications technologies in the area of geospatial systems and applications, notably on Spatial Data Infrastructure. He is a recipient of the National Geospatial Award for Excellence for 2005 from the Indian Society of Remote Sensing and the Astronautical Society of India Award for Space Science and Applications for the year 2000.
Prof Dasgupta is a M.E. in Electrical Communications Engineering and has worked in the Space Applications Centre, Indian Space Research Organisation, from November 1970 to March 2005. He began his career in the Satellite Instructional Television Experiment (SITE). Later he was involved in the management of applications programmes for several remote sensing satellites including Bhaskara and IRS as well as development of Image and Information Processing systems. He was responsible for research and development in applications using the convergence of communications and information technologies. He has pioneered the introduction of Geomatics in ISRO and conducted advanced research and development in the convergence of Geomatics, Information Technology and Communications Technology in space applications. His areas of research interest include Spatial Data Infrastructure, Standards and Interoperability, Information Systems, GIS, Image Processing, Technology Transfer and Operationalisation of Space Applications.
