Subhash Chandra Bera received the B.Sc. degree (with honors) in physics from Presidency College, Calcutta; B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in ‘radio physics and electronics’ from University of Calcutta; Ph.D. degree in microwave engineering from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad.
Dr. Bera joined Space Applications Centre, (ISRO) in 1994. He is involved in design and development activities of microwave solid-state power amplifiers, channel amplifiers and linearizer for various INSAT and GSAT communication payloads. He is an inventor of couple of driver circuits for diode-based circuits that are applied for international patent and has authored dozen of publications in international journals.
Dr. Bera is a fellow of IETE, and a member of IEEE.
