Summer school is IEEE SB DAIICT’s technological initiative to break the stereotype of a nonproductive summer for budding engineers from all across the country. Summer school is a hub for all engineers of tomorrow to come together today – learn, innovate, implement and solve some existing common social problems. It is only when these future engineers interact that new ideas come into being and Summer School is a place for such interaction.

The track of Summer School’16 will cover all aspects of Android Development with an introduction to wearable technology as well. It will be organized starting from 18th to 24th June in DA­IICT. The sessions will start from the basics of Android development, moving towards best practices and efficient design principles. Over the course of these 7 days, the students will be able to build complete applications covering front end and back end development as well. To motivate beginners, we will publish their apps on the Google Play Store account under the Mobile Apps Special Interest Group of the IEEE SB DAIICT.
