With the increasing demand for suitably trained software engineers from the IT industry, it is becoming imperative that the quality of education provided by the academic institutions keeps pace with the rapidly changing requirements of the industry. In order to train the faculty with the latest tools and procedures being adopted by the software industry, it is necessary that short term training programs for faculty members be conducted at regular intervals.
This STTP is meant to provide the participating faculty with the hands-on experience of working with the latest tools that are used in the software industry. The tools used during the STTP are manufactured by one of the leading names in this space viz. IBM. The course material and the instructor for this STTP are also from IBM.
In addition, the participants will get an opportunity to interact with their peers in this area, from other academic institutions. This would enable them to exchange ideas that would improve the quality of teaching in their respective institutes.

- Essentials of functional testing with Rational Robot
